Tanzania has a 800 km long coastline with a tropical climate.
The lovely beaches are deserted, beautiful and safe and far away from the sometimes overcrowded Zanzibar destinations. There are very attractive beach resorts near Bagamoyo and Pangani with all possibilities for swimming, snorkelling, relaxing and cultural visits. The towns of Tanga , Pangani and Bagamoyo tell the history of the slavery and ivory trading while north of Bagamoyo, the beautiful Saadani National Park is the only National Park where the bush meets the beach.
